The school system should focus on performing school drills in case of disaster like Connecticut with teachers & students & they can call the drills emergency. The teachers should have a heavy object in her class as a substitute of a weapon and each teacher & staff should carry pepper spray and have a police car parked in front of school, not necessarily any one in it at all times, but to scare people. Monitor what the students & teachers are talking about at school & there life style indirectly. Form a close relationship between teaches & students by being more involved one on one and especially with the counselor a of the school, so the counselor can sense of anything bad or concerning. Same for teachers they should have someone to turn to. More security is needed on board on a daily basis and these matters should be taken more seriously. Thanks for all you do for our kids ( Teachers are heroes)
