Sign up for SYA girls softball winter clinics

SYA SOFTBALL WINTER CLINICS

Don't put away your gloves and bats just yet!  Keep up your game during the off season, prepare for high school tryouts, or give softball a try for the first time.

Register now for the new SYA winter clinics!  We're hosting two four-week sessions on Sunday afternoons in the gym at Deer Park Elementary School, 15109 Carlbern Drive, in Centreville.  The sessions will cover the same material, but girls are welcome to sign up for both sessions.

We'll cover a wide range of softball skills like hitting fundamentals, throwing mechanics, base running, individual defense skills (all positions), speed and agility, and pitching fundamentals.  Girls will be grouped by age and skill level within each session.

Winter clinics are open to girls from age 7 to 18 who are eligible to play in any SYA house league except Little Juniors.  Check our age chart if you're not sure of your child's league.

Each session is $30.00 for four Sunday afternoons.  There is a maximum of 20 players per session.  If we have room, we'll accept drop-ins for $10.00 at the door (cash or check only).  Please call Susan Starr at (571) 521-9294 before 1:00 pm on Sundays to find out if space is available.  Refunds will not be given for missed Sundays.  If you have any questions, contact Susan at starr_susan@yahoo.com or (571) 521-9294.

Click HERE to register.  You also register by clicking on the big red "REGISTER" button in the upper left corner of any SYA Web page, then scroll down to click on the yellow "Clinic" button.

Bring your glove and bat and wear sneakers (NO cleats).  Bring your batting helmet, if you have one.  We will have extra helmets and bats available.
