Guide to the Gridiron: What You Need to Know About the Wildcats Vs. Tigers

What you need to know about cheering Centreville High School on at the varsity football state championship in Charlottesville on Saturday, Dec. 14.

This is it. The Finale. The high school Super Bowl. The Big Dance.

The undefeated, number one ranked varsity football teams of Centreville High School  and Oscar Smith High School of Chesapeake will meet today in the Virginia 6A State Championship.

Heading down to see the Wildcats face the Tigers? Here's everything you need to know before the game. 

Where: Scott Stadium at the University of Virginia. The physical address is 1815 Stadium Rd., Charlottesville, Va. 22903. 

When: Kickoff is at 4 p.m. 

Tickets: Can only be purchased at the East Gate of Scott Stadium. Those who already have tickets can use the West Gate of the stadium. 
Virginia High School League approved pass holders can enter through the pass gate near the West Gate of the stadium. Ticket price is $10. 

The Rules: No body paint or bare chests. Face paint is allowed only if it is before entering the stadium. No spectators are allowed on the field at any point. The field is for players and approved staff only. 

Don't Bring These: 
Alcohol, food or drink 
Umbrellas
Backpacks or sport bags 
Strollers (except umbrella strollers)
Coolers, Bottles, Cans
Weapons (of any kind) 
video cameras  
Tripods
Empty containers
Laser pointers
Artificial noise makers 
Banners or flags on sticks or poles
Items that can be thrown such as balls or Frisbees
