Pageantry and Festivities for SYA Opening Day

Over 650 youths from the Southwestern Youth Association Little League teams gathered on Saturday morning to celebrate the start of baseball season.

The Southwestern Youth Association held an opening day ceremony Saturday to celebrate the start of baseball season. Westfield and Centreville High School baseball teams, the Fairfax County Honor guard, and Sully District Supervisor Michael Frey joined the hundreds of young players Saturday to celebrate.
