The will hold a grand opening ceremony on Saturday, June 16th, at 2 p.m.
The museum displays artifacts related to Gen. James Ewell Brown "Jeb" Stuart and Col. John Mosby, whose daring Partisan Raiders turned most of Fairfax County into what was known as Mosby’s Confederacy. Though it, there was never an opening ceremony.
The free museum is located inside a building which once served as the first gas station in Centreville. It is run by volunteers and members of the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society.
