Caution: Major Renovation in Process

Feeling a bit out of sorts? There are good reasons why! We are all waking up to our inner selves, wanting to know who we are and why we are here. This is what it feels like for me.

Lately my life has felt like one huge renovation project. I’m not talking about putting in a new kitchen sink, I am talking about redoing your whole entire house, all at one time. That’s what my life feels like, and has felt like for a few months now.

The good news (if you want to call it that…) is that I am not the only one who feels this way. Because of the choices that I have made in my life, as well as the fact that it is 2012, (I don’t need to list the “stuff” that was supposed to happen, or the stuff that is actually happening in 2012 do I?) plus all of the astrological occurrences that are going on like super full moons, planetary alignments, mars (or was it mercury??) in retrograde, etc., multitudes of humans are feeling…hmm, a bit unsettled. Or like they are on the bullet train to nowhere, or that their life feels like a big, messy renovation project.

I work part time for a general contractor, and I recently completed a bid to do work on a condo. This bid was for “level 5″ work, meaning that the finish on the walls and ceilings had to be perfect; free of any blemishes of any kind, so that some very expensive and elaborate finishes could be applied to the surfaces. This was a first for me, and I felt a little out of my comfort zone at first. As it turns out, completing “level 5″ work is just like any other, it just takes a bit more research, a few more steps, plus extra attention to detail. Much like life. As the human race collectively raises it’s consciousness, we are all moving towards a “level 5″ finish. It just takes a little extra time and attention to detail. The detail of course, being ourselves.

We all have our own inner time clock that is set to allow us to “wake up” at a certain point in our lives. Everyone’s clock is set at a different time, but the times are falling closer together as more and more of us are wanting to know who we are and what we are here to do. Listen to your inner clock, your inner self. You can’t sleep through this alarm, trust me. You can ignore it by hitting the snooze button, but your inner self, your soul, will slap you awake whether you want to be up or not.

Trust me when I tell you that it is better to listen and heed the inner self/soul, cause if you resist, it just makes your renovation project that much longer and messier. I’m kind of a “been there, done that” girl when it comes to this stuff, and if I can make another’s journey a little easier, then I feel that I have done my job. (Just don’t tell the contractor that I work for, he might not think that this is part of my “job.”)

Peace to you on your own renovation project.
