Winery at Bull Run Hosts Real Housewives "Blogiversary," Report Cards Go Home, Jazz for Justice

Plus a BIG event for business women.


  • The Real Housewives of Northern Virginia celebrates its two-year "blogiversary" from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Winery at Bull Run in Centreville. Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and are available for purchase here. Tickets are $20 at door. Ticket includes complimentary glass of sangria and light fare. Raffles and giveaways will happen throughout the night. 

  • The next meeting of BIG (Believe Inspire Grow) is planned for Wednesday from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the Sully Government Center in Chantilly. This month's theme is “Your Money Matters” and will feature guest speakerPamela Sams, a Jackson Sams Financial Advisor. BIG is a large community of more than 1,500 of entrepreneurial women who want to share their business ideas and build upon their professional dreams. RSVP for the event at believeinspiregrow.com

  • Report cards for the first quarter go out on Friday. Fairfax County Public Schools doesn't require students to get their report cards signed and returned to school by a parent. 


  • The Centreville United Methodist Church is having its Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair from 9 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The free admission gives you access to more than 50 vendors. The church is located at 6400 Old Centreville Rd. 

  • The Mason Jazz Ensemble will bring the first of two Jazz for Justice concerts to George Mason University's Center for the Arts in Fairfax on 8 p.m. on Friday.  Albert M. Bonin will be the special guest conductor at the event. Get tickets at on the George Mason Center for the Arts website
