The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department wants residents to help them reach 4,000 "likes" on their Facebook page in honor of the page's one year anniversary this month. They would like to reach that goal by Oct. 1. You can "like" the page here.
The Sully Democrats Reunion and Open House is today (Monday) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. 5936 Centreville Crest Lane in Centreville.
The Friends of Homeless Animals is holding a charity dog wash at at Weber's Pet Supermarket in Herndon until Saturday. Ten dollars of each self-serve bath will go toward the nonprofit.
Fairfax Family Fun is giving away a four-pack of tickets to the Cox Farms Farm Festival this weekend. Three pairs of tickets to the farm's Field of Fear are also up for grabs.
