Jimmy Buffett, Backstreet Boys, Alice in Chains
That's three names we never thought we'd see together. It can only mean one thing: It's a busy weekend at the Jiffy Lube Live Amphitheater. Alice in Chains is headlining the UPROAR Festival on Friday. Jimmy Buffett takes the stage on Saturday and the Backstreet Boys bring their show to town on Sunday. DC United Player at Soccer Expo
Former D.C. United pro soccer player Abdul Conteh will be on hand at E.C. Lawrence Park Saturday during a soccer development expo on Saturday. The showcase is sponsored by 7-Touch Training, OHLEsport and Global Goal and is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park's soccer fields off Route 28 in Centreville.
