Ke$ha, Car Show, 'Ice Age' Oudoors and Minnieland Open House

Car Show and Country Music
Fast Eddie's Sports and Billiards, 14144 Lee Highway, will host the first-ever NVA Hot Rod and Custom Car Show from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, with live music, vendors, trophies and pin stripers. The public is invited. Following the show, country music singer Chris Higbee will play at Fast Eddie's at 7 p.m. The cost is $7, and free line dances will be available beforehand. Cover charge is $10 from 7 p.m. until closing.

Starlight Cinema Series
The annual Starlight Cinema outdoor movie series in Centreville continues Saturday with a showing of Ice Age: Continental Drift. All shows start at dark at 5875 Trinity Parkway and are free to the public. Gates open at 6 p.m. 

Minnieland Discovery Days
Saturday at Compton Village, Sully Station and Centreville Square. "Children's activities, refreshments, games, prizes, tours of our facility and more!"

Wolf Trap Talent
It's another packed weekend at the Filene Center at the Wolf Trap in Vienna. The weekend is filled with duos, Don McLean and Judy Collins on Friday, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Shawn Colvin on Saturday and Peter Frampton and B.B. King on Sunday. But it's a whole other experience come Monday when Ke$ha takes the stage.
