Bikram Yoga Centreville will open in Centreville at 5673 Stone Road, Suite A in the spring, according to announcements by the business on its website, Twitter account and Facebook page. Bikram (pronounced BEEK-rum) Yoga currently has seven studios in Northern Virginia, in Ashburn, Reston, Fairfax, Tysons, Falls Church, Alexandria and Arlington. Bikram Yoga is a type of hatha yoga characterized by a set series of postures and breathing exercises, performed in a very hot room. It gets its name from yoga guru Bikram Choudhury, 65.
