Shervin Aminifar will open the "Village Cafe Express," a new food truck that will operate throughout Northern Virginia.
The Village Cafe, a long-standing Mom-and-Pop-style restaurant in the Centreville area, plans to expand its services soon with a new food truck that will hit the road in Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. The new truck, dubbed the "Village Cafe Express," is the pet project of Shervin Aminifar, the son of Parviz and Rosemary Aminifar, who opened the Village Cafe in 1996. "I just enjoyed serving people. I liked to make them happy." After getting his engineering degree from Roosevelt University, Aminifar was in a bit of a dilemma. He couldn't return home to Iran as he had planned; the political unrest made his future there …
