Police: Man Led State Troopers on High-Speed Chase Down Fairfax County Parkway, I-66
Virginia State Police troopers arrested Juan Carlos Gudiel, of Centreville, as he was fleeing down Stone Road.
A Centreville man faces multiple charges after he tailgated and struck another car twice on the Fairfax County Parkway, then sped away from the state troopers who tried to arrest him, police said. Juan Carlos Gudiel, 25, first rear-ended the 2003 Honda with his 2000 Ford Explorer early Sunday, Fairfax County Police said. He then sped away—but not before the victim, a 24-year-old Lorton man, copied the license plate number and called 911. Virginia State Police chased Gudiel down I-66, and then onto Lee Highway. He reportedly ran a red light as he turned onto Stone Road. At that point, troopers were able to force him to stop.
