ReplyWithout expressing preference one way or the other, I just want to say I find it interesting that the county went overwhelmingly Republican while also voting "yes" on the two issues that require the county to take on more debt.

ReplyHi. For those talking about being in apartment or condo complexes -- with our first child, we would leave our apartment complex for my parents townhouse community simply because nobody was giving out candy where we lived. So the fact that kids don't come to your door could very well be because they're at family or friends homes, in communities like, apparently, London Towne.

ReplyUsually I run in a worn-out old pair of Asics. I have looked into Vibrams, and a lot of the barefoot runners out there recommend them. Just be careful when you're shopping. A lot of "minimalist" shoes aren't minimalist at all -- they're just funny-looking shoes. I had one running store clerk tell me I wouldn't want Vibrams because "the soles are too thin." He recommended another five-fingered shoe with a thicker sole -- which, to me, sort of defeats the purpose.

"Hoping Santa can bring her a clue" is certainly the sort of comment that embodies what Christmas is all about. Might I respectfully suggest that this piece is tongue-in-cheek?
