A Centreville man faces charges after he allegedly punched a Woodbridge woman in the face several times, Prince William County Police said.
Lisandro Chicas, 27, Raina Drive, is charged with malicious wounding.
On Friday at 12:40 a.m., police responded to the 12800 block of Warwick Place in Woodbridge, where a 28-year-old woman reported that she and Chicas, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

Police said that Chicas punched the victim multiple times to her face, causing a laceration. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. After an investigation, Chicas was arrested.
