Suspect still at large.

A man robbed the BB&T bank in the Union Mill Colonnade Thursday afternoon.

Lt. Ryan Morgan of the Fairfax County Police Department said that a 911 call came in around 4:35 p.m. Thursday after the bank was robbed. Police dispatched a helicopter and the K-9 unit in response, but the suspect is still at large.

The man was described as a lone white, middle-aged male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, heavyset, with a ponytail and facial hair. Police said that more information won't be available until the investigation is a little farther along.
