The Recovery Side of Drugs and Alcohol

"The Recovery Side of Alcohol and Drugs" will be the topic of the November Citizen's Advisory Committee meeting at the Sully District Police Station. Going into the holiday season, the subject is not only timely, but an opportune one to remind citizens that up to 90 percent of all crime is drug or alcohol related.

The speaker, Dave Naylor, heads the Fairfax County Rehabilitation center, A New Beginning, on Walney Road in Chantilly.  In addition to a detox center, A New Beginning is a in-patient facility that provides inclusive treatment at minimal cost to those who seek help from both alcohol and drug addiction.

The meeting wll be held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Sully Government Center, 4900 Stonecroft Blvd., Chantilly VA.
