See VDOT's Preliminary Plans for Pleasant Valley/Braddock Road Intersection
There's still time to submit comments on the proposal to VDOT.
VDOT is preparing preliminary plans for a roundabout at the intersection of Pleasant Valley and Braddock roads.
VDOT has set up a new website for the project, and residents still have time to submit feedback on the proposal. The project will cost $3-4 million, VDOT officials said in March.
The preliminary plan calls for moving the roundabout slightly into land owned by Cox Farms, due to the environmental impact. A public hearing on the issue will be held in the fall.

VDOT's website for the project says:
"Designs for improvements here must take into account parkland, commercial property, an Agricultural-Forestal District, wetlands, rare habitats, and significant overhead utility poles. Taking these constraints into consideration, VDOT, in cooperation with Fairfax County, is preparing preliminary plans based on the concept shown [above]. It will be refined as the design is further developed."
