Kiddie Academy Throws Carnival to Help Teacher Striken by Cancer

The fundraiser is this weekend and is open to the community.

Update: Due to expected poor weather, the carnival has been postponed to March 31. It will still take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Local families can enjoy moonbounces, face painting, balloons and games at this weekend as the school holds a carnival to benefit one of its teachers.

"We're trying to help our teacher who's dealing with cancer," said Bela Desai, who owns Kiddie Academy. The school opened in Centreville last fall.
