Virginia Spartans Raise Over $21k for Kyle's Kamp

The Centreville-based team played at Nationals Park as a reward.

The Centreville-based Virginia Spartans 13U team raised $21,029.98 for Kyle's Kamp, an organization which raises money and awareness for children fighting cancer.

As a reward, the team was invited to play at Nationals Park over Memorial Day weekend.

Rob Hahne, a Centreville resident, started Kyle's Kamp and named it after his son, who was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of six. which is now in its second year, has collectively raised over $400,000 for the Children's National Medical Center.
